Mission, Vision and Values:
Our mission is to design and manufacture products that are instrumental to physical and mental development of children from birth to seven years old.
Our vision is that a child's skills of self learning are critical for the child's future success in this information age.
Our key values are:
- Develop self-learning attitude in children
- Teach children reasoning and critical thinking skills
- Foster self-learning through fun and educational play
Our safety standards
Q Toys comply with the highest safety standards for toys. Q Toys produced for the Australian market strictly comply with Australian and New Zealand toy safety standards. Additionally, most Q Toys also have the CE mark which means that they have been tested by qualified testing organizations according to the European safety standards for toys. Please refer to ourcertificates page.
Our design team
The conceptual founding of Q Toys owes itself to Dr. Quan Nguyen and Cathy Dang, M.Ed. They wanted Q Toys to be a play-based method of early childhood education, alternative to formal schooling.
Growing over the years, our design team now includes artists, teachers, engineers and industrial designers. All share the passion to create toys for children to learn through play. Our expertises and experiences help us to blend the educational value of toys, fun and childhood imagination with high quality timber design.
Educational value is the strength of Q Toys products. Every design of Q Toys has a specific educational function in order to foster children's physical and mental development.
Q Toys have very high quality finishes thanks to the excellent craftsmanship which accounts for eighty percent of the production. Each Q Toys is therefore a craft, which leaves long-lasting satisfaction for the children playing with our toys.
Our fair trade practices
Q Toys are crafted by highly skilled craftsmen. Q Toys do not employ and exploit unskilled labor in production lines in poorly equipped factories as sometimes reported in the plastic toy industry. Q Toys ensure highly skilled workers who work with us get a fair deal. Q Toys also train disabled children in Mekong Delta in Vietnam who want to become craftsmen or craftswomen for life.
Our care for environment
Q Toys are made from plantation timber of recycled rubber trees. Plantation rubber trees are taped for natural latex, which still supplies one quarter of rubber used in our modern world. Old plantation rubber trees are cleared to grow the young ones. Rubber wood perishes easily when discarded therefore helping to protect the environment. Plantation rubber trees give Q Toys the natural beauty of wood patterns, while leaving unharmed natural forests.
