The 2–3 year-old stage is marked by the start of symbolic thought (Cognitive), where children begin to use language and imagination, though they remain somewhat egocentric. Physically, they master fundamental movements like running, jumping , and refine fine motor skills for early drawing and assisted self-care. Socially, they learn cooperation and self-regulation in group play. Communication skills (Language and Literacy) continue to rapidly expand, enabling more complex social interactions.
